Youth Entrepreneurship chalenge

The Défi à l'entrepreneuriat jeunesse supports the development of a true entrepreneurial culture, and promotes the values to young entrepreneurs in partnership with the school environment. As a source of vitality and dynamism for the community, youth is often the engine of great social changes. The Entrepreneurship Promotion & Awareness Officiers offer support for developing projects related to entrepreneurship. Chantier d’accompagnement IDÉO (16-17 ans)

The Chantier d’accompagnement IDÉO aims towards the social and professional reinsertion of teenagers aged 16 to 17. The goal of the project is help youth persevere in school, and to move into to action. The participants will be able to define their project, identify ways to achieve their goals and take action. Group meetings, individual meetings, hands-on work experience, job-shadowing or a return to school are ways which can be used to achieve their goals,  all this  over a period of approximately 16 weeks. Jeunes en action (18-24 ans)

In collaboration with Emploi-Québec for the Jeunes en action project, the Carrefour jeunesse-emploi wishes to reach young adults between 18 and 24 years of age without job income and experiencing some difficulties to reintegrate the labour market. The participants will be able to describe their project,  identify ways to achieve their goals, and take action. Group meetings, individual meetings, hands-on work experience, job-shadowing or a return to school are  ways which can be used to achieve their goals  over a period that varies between 20 to 52 weeks.
